Tamil Nadu posts win

MARCH 1.
Tamil Nadu defeated Maharashtra 1-0 while Orissa trounced Delhi 6-0 in the quarterfinal league matches of the 13th senior womens's National Football championship here on Tuesday.
Tamil Nadu' M. Radha scored the goal in the 70th minute of the play.
For Orissa, Pinki scored the first goal in the eighth minute and the last goal in the 54th minute. Midfielders Laxmipriya also scored two goals in the 28th and 34th minutes of the match. Sradhanjali Samantray and Gitanjali scored a goal each for the winner.
Defending champion Manipur will clash with Jharkhand in a very crucial match tomorrow while Bihar will meet Punjab. — PTI
