Formidables to meet Indian Railways in final
CHENNAI,
MARCH 1.
Formidables, represented by Ms. Kiran Nadar, Satyanarayana, Subhash Gupte, Tiwari, Gokhale and K.R. Venkataraman, has qualified to meet Indian Railways in the final of the Indian team bridge selection trials.
In the Challengers final held on Monday, Formidables defeated Agsar Paints of Chennai, comprising, N.R. Kirubakaramoorthy, H. Prabhakar, S. Sundarraman, P. Sridhar, Anil Phadhye and Rajeswara Dalal by 11 International Match Points.
The Indian Railways, captained by Manas Mukerjee, has been directly seeded into the final, which, spread over six segments of 16 Boards each, will be played over two days.
