Kapil Devils CC posts win

MADURAI, MARCH 1. An unbeaten century by SP. Murali Manohar (106 not out) and half centuries by Jeyasudhan (58) and Ranjith (52) helped Kapil Devils CC defeat Spark Colts CC by 65 runs in the Indian Bank - Madurai District Cricket Association first division zone A league here on Sunday.

The scores: First division zone A: Kapil Devils CC 309 for eight in 50 overs (SP. Murali Manohar 106 not out, Jeya Sudhan 58, Ranjith 52) bt Spark Colts CC 244 for six in its allotted 42 overs (Sathish 52, Karthick 43).

SBOA MHSS 185 in 46 overs (Shivaranjan 54, Robin five for 41) bt Majestic Cubs CC 157 in 36.4 overs (Muruganantham four for 35).

Zone B: Richard CC 175 in 39.3 overs (Raja 47, Prakash 40, Bala five for 32) tied with Supersonic Concord CC 175 in 30 overs (Yogin Martin four for 57, Nawas four for 28).
