HYDERABAD, MARCH 1. Anoop scored 40 and then took three wickets for 13 runs to help Invensys defeat STC System by 73 runs in the second round of the premier league cricket championship organised by Sports Un-Limited here on Tuesday.

The scores: Invensys 185 for seven (Sridhar Sharma 53, Surya 49, Anoop 40) bt STC System 112 (Nagesh 40, Mohan three for nine, Anoop three for 13).

Vertex 152 for seven (Pradeep 37 not out) bt Portal Player 135 for nine (Gautham 32, Rajsekhar 46, Mallikarjun three for 23).

Convergys 153 for six bt Euclid 128 for seven (Ajay 51).

SSA Global 112 (Sirish three for 22) lost to Deloitte 113 for two (Guru 56).

Cordys 99 for eight (Raghu three for 17) lost to Wipro 101 for three (M. Kiran 58 not out).

Yash Technologies 174 for five (Amith Reddy 61 not out, R. Krishna 40 not out) bt Ascential 138 (Satish 43).
