Gopi Chand & Sridhar make main draw
BANGALORE,
MARCH 1.
National champion, Anup Sridhar and Pullela Gopi Chand made the main draw of the German Open badminton championship at Mulheim, according to information reaching here.
Anup Sridhar defeated Robert Kwee of Netherlands in the final qualifying round at 17-16, 15-9 and Gopi Chand got a walk-over from Stephen Loell of Germany. Trupti Murgunde, however, lost in the women's singles qualifying round to Li Chen of China at 4-11, 3-11.
