However, his brother-in-law, Subramanyam, suspected a foul play and made a surprise visit to the house of Paramahamsa and found the `samadhi'.Basing on a complaint by Subramanyam, the police dismantled the `samadhi' and recovered the body.

Contract workers' dharna
Heated arguments ensued between the SE and the CITU leaders, who took exception to the lukewarm response of the official. The general secretaries of the CITU and Vyavasaya Karmika Sangham, T.Veera Reddy and N.Venkataswamy, respectively, said that workers were starving due to the non-payment of salaries. The leaders demanded that minimum wages be paid to the contract workers by contractors in the form of cheques.
