Bangkok Airways keen to extend services to North-east

GUWAHATI,
MARCH 2.
A visiting Bangkok Airways delegation on Tuesday told the Assam Government that the international airline was keen to extend its services to northeast India.
"Bangkok Airways is operating air services in seven South East Asian countries. We are desirous of extending services to northeast India. We have cultural affinity with this beautiful region. We will be happy to contribute towards economic ties between the two," said President-cum-Chief Executive Officer of Bangkok Airawys, Prasert Prasarttong Osoth, during an interaction with Ministers and officials of Tourism, Industry and Forest departments of Assam.
The 30-member delegation led by Mr. Osoth arrived at the Lokapriya Gopinath Bardoloi international airport by a Bangkok Airways aircraft on a three-day tour.
