NAGERCOIL, MARCH. 2. About 500 tsunami-affected people staged a road roko yesterday in Kanyakumari urging the revenue officials to disburse the Government's monthly dole of Rs. 1000. The affected people were upset at the officials' absence in the post-lunch session.Of the estimated 2399 families eligible for the relief, 1,200 were given the dole on Monday while 700 received it on Tuesday morning. The others, who did not receive it, staged the roko.
