TUTICORIN, MARCH 2. An all-round performance by Raj (51 not out and four for 32) helped DCW Cricket Club carve out a three-wicket victory over Power Cricket Club in the Indian Bank - Tuticorin District Cricket Association first division league here recently. In another second division match, a five-wicket haul by Raja Singh (five for 25) and an unbeaten 51 by Ramesh helped Youth Cricket Club defeat Thermal Cricket Club `A' by four wickets. The scores: First division: Power CC 131 in 38.4 overs (Jegan 43, Raj four for 32) lost to DCW CC 132 for seven in 31.4 overs (Raj 51 not out). Second division: Thermal CC `A' 170 in 35 overs (Ramachandran 46, Raja Singh five for 25) lost to Youth CC 171 for six in 29.3 overs (Ramesh 51 not out). Seconds CC `B' 187 in 35 overs (Raja 62) bt Spic CC 141 in 31.4 overs. Third division: Pope's CC 131 in 25 overs (Suresh 50) bt VOC CC 127 in 23.2 overs (Esakkimuthu four for 15).
