CET Cell brochure posted on Internet

By Our Staff Reporter

BANGALORE, MARCH 2. Thursday being the last day for submission of demand drafts to college principals to get the Common Entrance Test (CET) brochure, the CET Cell today made available its brochure on its website.

Printed copies of the brochure are likely to be available from Saturday.

The candidates who have received the brochure with application forms through their schools or colleges should submit their filled applications in the respective schools or colleges.

The principals of all schools and colleges in Karnataka teaching PUC or 12th Standard, including CBSE and ISCE syllabi, have been requested to collect the filled application forms and forward them to the CET Cell both from fresher and repeater students. The last date for submitting the filled application forms to the principals is March 21. The candidates can collect their admission tickets from the respective schools and colleges on or after April 18.

Candidates who do not get the tickets can contact the college heads with the photocopy of their filled application forms.

Karnataka candidates living outside the State should send their filled forms by speed post to the Cell on or before March 28.

They will get their tickets by speed post on or after April 18.

Each question paper will be of 70 minutes duration and will be of objective type, offering four different answer options.

The question paper in each subject is in 16 different versions, each version containing 60 questions. The candidate will have to mark correct options on the optical mark reader (OMR) sheet, which will be supplied at the beginning of each session of the test. Each of the 60 questions will carry one mark.

The candidate is expected to attempt all the questions.
