HYDERABAD, MARCH 2. The MCH has decided to pay Rs. 2.25 crores towards January month bill to the Central Power Distribution Company Ltd, which has switched off supply to streetlights. While the CPDCL slapped a demand notice of Rs. 6.72 crores, including arrears and penal fee, the MCH agreed to pay up the rest of the dues in a phased manner after "mutually sorting out discrepancies, if any." The discom and the MCH were said to have been pulled up by senior Government officials at a meeting held here on Wednesday for bringing the dispute out in the open.
