Fire at GPO
THIRUVANANTHAPURAM,
MARCH 2.
A waste paper dump on the premises of General Post Office (GPO) building caught fire on Wednesday afternoon causing panic in the area. The Fire and Rescue Department was alerted of the blaze that occurred near the generator room of the GPO building at 3 p.m. Two fire engines were rushed to the spot and the fire was put out. An official said there were no casualties or damage to the building.
