Dry weather likely in Tamil Nadu

CHENNAI, MARCH 3. Dry weather prevailed over Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Kerala and Lakshadweep.

On Wednesday, the maximum temperature rose at one or two places over north Tamil Nadu, south coastal Andhra Pradesh and Telangana and changed little elsewhere over the region.

They were appreciably above normal at a few places over Telangana, south coastal Andhra Pradesh at one or two places over north Tamil Nadu, coastal Karnataka, above normal at a few places over rest coastal Andhra Pradesh, rest Tamil Nadu, at one or two places over rest Telangana, rest coastal Karnataka, south Kerala and were generally normal over the rest of the region.

Nizamabad and Cuddapah recorded the highest maximum temperature of 39 degree Celsius in the region.

The minimum temperature fell appreciably at one or two places over Telangana, fell at one or two places over coastal Andhra Pradesh, Rayalaseema and changed little elsewhere over the region.

They were appreciably above normal at one or two places over north coastal Andhra Pradesh, above normal at one or two places over north interior Tamil Nadu, appreciably below normal at one or two places over south coastal Tamil Nadu, below normal at one or two places over rest coastal Andhra Pradesh, Rayalaseema, south interior Karnataka and were generally normal over the rest of the region.

FORECAST (valid until Saturday Morning): Mainly dry weather will prevail over Tamil Nadu, Pondicherry, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Kerala and Lakshadweep.

Farmers weather bulletin for Tamil Nadu and Pondicherry Forecast (valid until the morning of 5th March 2005): Mainly sunny weather will prevail over Tamil Nadu and Pondicherry.
