Kerala in semifinals
IMPHAL,
MARCH 3.
Kerala defeated Tamil Nadu 2-0 to enter the semifinals of the 13th senior National women's football championship here today.
Nisha (65th minute) and Angel Adolfes (67th) were the goal-scorers.
In another match, West Bengal thrashed Delhi 9-0. Rinku Ghosh scored four goals (29th, 46th, 58th and 59th minutes; including a hat-trick). Aplana Seal (13th & 14th), Papiya Ghosh (45th & 68th) and Sujata Singh (20th) were the others who scored.
In the first semifinal, to be played tomorrow, defending champion and host Manipur will clash with Goa at Khuman Lampak main stadium. — PTI
