TIRUNELVELI, MARCH. 3. Urging the State Government to provide quality spare parts in adequate numbers for the various types of government vehicles, members of Tamil Nadu Government Motor Vehicles Maintenance Employees Association staged a demonstration in front of the government workshop at Palayamkottai today. The protestors said the government was not supplying adequate numbers of spare parts for the past six months, hampering the maintenance of vehicles being used by various government agencies in the district. Moreover, the drivers of the vehicles were being asked to come all the way to Chennai to get the necessary spare parts whenever their vehicles broke down.
