TN sitting pretty

VADODARA, MARCH 3. Tamil Nadu, after scoring 362 in the first innings, shot out Madhya Pradesh for a paltry 126 and enforced the follow-on on the second-day of the three-day Col. C.K. Nayudu Trophy under-22 semifinal here today. In its second innings MP made 72 without losing a wicket.

Rayudu hits century

In the other semifinal at Rajkot, Ambati Rayudu's unbeaten 155 (16x4, 2x6) helped Hyderabad score 287 for seven in reply to Cricket Association of Bengal's 315.

The scores: Tamil Nadu 362 (A. Srikkanth 47, E. Suresh 152, R. Naresh 56, C. Surendra four for 104) vs. MP 126 (S. Dholpure 37, T. Kumaran three for 43) and 72 for no loss (Shane Alam 50 not out).

CAB 315 in 88 overs vs. Hyderabad 287 for seven in 92 overs (T. Suman 63, A.T. Rayudu 155 batting).
