VELLORE, MARCH 3. Two persons were killed in separate accidents near here on Thursday. In the first accident, Kannan, a mason of Palavansathukuppam, was killed when a Tamil Nadu State Transport Corporation town bus hit his motorcycle on the road overbridge across the railway line in Katpadi. He was returning to Vellore, along with two other masons, Gandhi (21) and Murugan (21), after supervising construction work in Pallur in Chittoor district of Andhra Pradesh. Gandhi and Murugan have been admitted to the Government Vellore Medical College Hospital. In the other accident, Valliammal (65) was fatally run over by an Arcot-bound private bus when she was crossing the road at Alamelurangapuram near here.
