Licence should also be obtained for sinking wells or installing devices for extraction and transportation of groundwater. The forms can be obtained from the office of the Authority at the Directorate of Agriculture, at Uzhavar Udhaviyagams, Farm Clinics and Water Users Associations. The Authority has also launched a website (www.pondicherryagri.org) detailing the Act and the Rules framed hereunder. Applications can be downloaded through the website, he said.
