5 held for BJP leader's murder

AHMEDABAD,
MARCH 3
. The Ahmedabad crime branch police have arrested the alleged killers of the BJP Porbandar city unit general secretary, Keshubhai Odedra, who was shot dead in broad daylight on Tuesday.
The five arrested included Kandal and Karan, sons of the former independent member of the Gujarat Assembly, Santokben Jadeja.
The Hindi film, Godmother, in which Shabana Azmi played the lead role, was based on Ms. Jadeja's life.
