PERAMBALUR, MARCH. 3 . All rural developmental works launched in the district will be completed by month-end, the Collector, D. Vivekanandan, has said. Presiding over the executive committee meeting of the District Rural Development Agency here today, the Collector said Rs.49.39 lakhs had been sanctioned under the `Prime Minister's Gramodhaya Yojana' for the construction of 145 houses. Work on this project was progressing at a fast pace and would be completed shortly. Work on other housing programmes under different schemes would also be completed by the end of this month. He also said banks had been instructed to release loans to all the eligible borrowers to take up self-employment. The Project Officer, DRDA, L. Raja, was among those who participated.
