PUDUKOTTAI, MARCH 3. Students leaving the portals of colleges in rural and semi-urban areas should shun inhibitions and equip themselves to face challenges, the Vice Chancellor of the Bharathidasan University, C. Thangamuthu, has said. Delivering the convocation address at the Naina Mohamed College at Rajendrapuram, near Aranthangi, recently, the Vice-Chancellor pointed out that rural students should not develop inferiority complex of any kind, as it was the talent of a candidate that matters when it comes to job opportunities. Every student would have been blessed with some talent, he said and appealed to them to identify and develop that skill. The Vice Chancellor presented degrees and certificates to the students on the occasion. He also honoured top rankers, Sathya Sheela and V. Ramya with gold medals. The Principal of the college, M. A. M. Nazeer Ali and its correspondent N. Mohamed Farook also addressed the students.
