Two children die, 54 huts gutted

CUDDALORE, MARCH 2 . In a blaze in a cluster of tenements at Andikuppam near Kadampuliyur on Wednesday, two children were burnt to death and 54 huts destroyed.

The victims, G. Jothika (2) and B. Madhangi (10), were residing in adjoining houses. Fire tenders from the neighbouring taluks doused the flames.
