Peerless re-launches Flexi-Life savings plan

THANJAVUR,
MARCH 3.
The Peerless General Finance and Investment Company Ltd, the Residuary Non-Banking Company (RNBC) has paid maturity to the tune of Rs. 10,000 crores in the last four years to four crore customers in India said A.Gosh, Marketing Manager of the company here today.
Mr.Gosh said that the company re-launched its product Flexi-Life Savings Plan today in Tiruchi region. Flexi-Life is a recurring deposit scheme for five years.
The minimum deposit is Rs. 500 and the mode is monthly. The plan offers a rate of return of 5 per cent yearly plus 2.30 per cent continuity bonus on the deposit amount at maturity.
The plan offers a loan facility up to 75 per cent of deposit amount after three months, premature withdrawals available after one year.
Mr. Gosh said the company had paid a maturity of Rs. 32.22 crores to 1,11,545 customers in 2003-04 in the Tiruchi region.
J.Damodaran, Regional Manager and P.Thirumeni, Branch Manager were also present at the press conference.
