Sale of EAMCET forms closed

HYDERABAD, MARCH 3. Sale of application forms for Engineering, Agriculture and Medical Common Entrance Test (EAMCET)-2005 closed on Thursday.

According to the EAMCET convenor, L.V.A.R. Sarma, the details pertaining to sale and submission of these applications were being collected from across the State and a clear picture on the number of applicants would be available by Friday.

Till Wednesday, more than 1.88 lakh applications were sold for the test scheduled to be held on April 29. Of this, 1,13,465 were for engineering and 75,664 for medicine. Submission of application forms with a fine of Rs. 500 was allowed till March 10 and with a fine of Rs. 1,000 till March 19, Dr. Sarma said.
