Music director Ravindran dead

CHENNAI, MARCH 3. The Malayalam music director M. Ravindran died at his residence here this evening following breathing problems, his family said. He was 61 and is survived by wife and three sons.

Ravindran had scored music for nearly 400 Malayalam films and half-a-dozen Tamil films. A recipient of a national award for his Malayalam film `Bharatham,' he has also received several State awards, the family members said. - PTI
