Water tax date extended

CHENNAI, MARCH 3. The last date for payment of water tax/charges without surcharge for 2004-05 has been extended up to March 31.

Consumers can pay the charges/tax at the collection centres, which will function on all days including Sundays. Belated payment would attract a surcharge at 1.25 per cent per month. For details, log on to www.chennaimetrowater.com or www.billjunction.com.
