Vajpayee should answer to charges, says Dhadda

JAIPUR, MARCH 3. Siddhraj Dhadda, Sarvodaya leader, has expressed surprise over the refusal of the former Prime Minister, Atal Bihari Vajpayee, to react to the charges levelled by the former President, K.R. Narayanan, on collusion between the Gujarat Government and the Centre in the post-Godhra violence in Gujarat.

"Mr. Vajpayee cannot escape giving his reaction to the comments of Mr. Narayanan. The excuse that the allegations were vague is flimsy," Mr. Dhadda said in a statement here today
