Fiat on payment of Cellone bills

COIMBATORE, MARCH 3. The Department of Posts (India Post) in a tie-up with Cellone mobile services of the BSNL has made arrangements for accepting payment of Cellone bills at identified post offices in the Western Region, Coimbatore.

A release from the Postmaster General, Western Region, Coimbatore, said that the mobile bills in the first phase would be accepted in as many as 21 identified post offices in the Western Region, Coimbatore, and the same would be extended to other post offices in due course.

The Head Post offices identified for the service in the first phase included Coimbatore, R.S. Puram, Dharmapuri, Krishnagiri, Erode, Bhavani, Gobichettipalayam, Namakkal, Tiruchengode, Udhagamandalam, Coonoor, Pollachi, Udumalpet, Salem, Attur, Suramangalam, Tirupur, Dharapuram, Mettuppalayam, Tirupattur and Gudiyattam.

The payment details would be communicated online to BSNL for ensuring immediate update of payment details for the convenience of the subscribers, the release said.
