Clear sky forecast

The city recorded a maximum temperature of 33.6 degrees Celsius and a minimum temperature of 17.7 degrees Celsius on Thursday.

The relative humidity was 15 per cent.

At the airport, the maximum temperature was 32.4 degrees Celsius while the minimum temperature was 16.2 degrees Celsius.

The relative humidity was 16 per cent.

The forecast for Friday is: the sky will be clear and the maximum temperature will be around 34 degrees Celsius and the minimum temperature around 18 degrees Celsius.

Power shutdown

There will be no power supply between 10 a.m. and 5 p.m. on Friday in Maruthisevanagar, Banaswadi Main Road, Jayabharathinagar, Vivekandanagar, Muddhappa Road, Desa Garden, Konanakunte Cross, Vallabhnagar, Ramaiah Industrial Area, Manasa Theatre and surrounding areas.

This is because of works being taken up in E-5 sub division and F-6 feeder of Subramanyapura sub station.

Sri Tyagaraja Gana Sabha Trust will conduct Sri Sankara Jayanti Sangeethotsava music competitions from May 10 to May 15.
