Letters to the Editor
Sir, The report that Rahul Gandhi led a group of first time parliamentarians to protest frequent disruptions of parliamentary proceedings is amusing. What was the brigade doing all these days when Parliament was being disrupted systematically? Why take up the cause now? Does it have anything to do with the developments in Jharkhand?
K.R.A. Narasiah,
* * * Sir, The protest was commendable. It was neither unruly nor indecent, though the protesters were all young. It is remarkable that the protest was held under the Gandhi statue, without causing obstruction to the movement of MPs and visitors to Parliament. The youngsters have demonstrated to seasoned MPs that dissent can be registered without disrupting proceedings.
N.K. Vijayan,
