TDP urged not to scuttle project work

HYDERABAD,
MARCH 4.
Countering the TDLP deputy leader, Nagam Janardhan Reddy's charge on estimates of the Nettampadu project, the Congress MLA, G. Chinna Reddy, the Samajwadi Party MLA, D.K. Aruna and the TRS MLA, Laxma Reddy, urged the TDP not to harm Mahabubnagar's interests.
Questioning the TDP's motives in raising the bogey of corruption despite transparency in the tender process, they said it was unfortunate that it was trying to scuttle the Government move to complete the irrigation projects. Disagreeing with MLAs, Dr. Reddy said the Government should place the detailed project report in the House and reveal the line estimates of the authorities.
