KC(Jacob) leaders quit party

KOCHI, MARCH 4. Shibu Thekkumpuram, State general secretary and office-in-charge of the Kerala Congress (Jacob), and four other office-bearers quit the party today.

Addressing presspersons today, Mr. Shibu said that the party leader, T.M. Jacob, had failed to take a definite stand on several issues after he was denied a ministerial berth in the Oommen Chandy-led UDF Government.
