TIRUCHI, MARCH 5. Jamal Mohamed College handed out a 1-0 defeat to Cholas Sports Club at the Tiruchi District Hockey Association annual league match at the Anna Stadium here on Saturday. Julie Vasanth scored in the 18th minute for JMC. In the other match of the day, Tamil Nadu Special Police got the better of Joe Joe Hockey Club by an odd goal in three. Antony opened the account for the Police team in the 14th minute and Raja made it 2-0 eight minutes later. Sivanesan reduced the margin for Joe Joe hrough a penalty stroke in the fag end of the match.
