THRISSUR, MARCH 5. The renowned violin exponent and president of Raga Research Centre, Kunnakkudi Vaidyanathan, will conduct a lecture-demonstration on the `Power of Ragas' here on Sunday. The programme, to be held at the Regional Theatre at 6 p.m., has been jointly organised by the Thrissur-based organisations, Vivekananda Sangeetha Sadas and Nada Laya Pravah Academy of Music. Musicians K.R. Saranadhan, S.R. Veeraraghavan, T.V.R. Sekhar, Gita Raju, Padmini Ravi, Meenakshi Seshadri, Subha, Thiruvarur Balam, Mithun Srinivas, V.N. Ganesan, and Sai Krishnan will also participate in the programme, according to a release received here today.
