ANANTAPUR, MARCH 5. The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI), which is probing the Paritala Ravi murder case, today arrested the Congress ZPTC member from Chennekothapalli , V. Hanumantha Reddy. He is learnt to have been arrested at Chennekothapalli as a suspect in the murder conspiracy. On producing him in the Additional Judicial First Class Magistrate Court here, the Judge, A. Jayaraj, ordered 14 days' judicial custody to Hanumantha Reddy. Hanumantha Reddy is the first major conspiracy suspect and Congress leader to be arrested by the CBI in the case. It is learnt that he was among a few key Congress leaders of the Penukonda constituency who had gone out of the district three days prior to the Ravi murder.
