KOCHI, MARCH 5. Muvattupuzha Fest '05, an eight-day agro-industrial fair, will begin at the EEC Market, Muvattupuzha, on Sunday morning. The fair will be formally inaugurated by the Minister for Industries, V.K. Ebrahim Kunju, in the evening. The general convenor of the fest, P.S.A. Latheef, said equal stress had been given to education and entertainment at the fair. On show would be agricultural produce, flowers, medicinal plants, seeds, rare plants and curios. Exhibitions of industrial and ornamental fisheries, items made by Kudumbasree units and old agriculture implements, medical camps and an animal show would be held and an amusement park set up. The departments of Agriculture and Irrigation, Kerafed, Coir Board and colleges would have their stalls at the fair, he said.
