Man drowns in pool

BANGALORE, MARCH 5. A 24-year-old man drowned in the swimming pool of a private resort in Rajanukunte police station limits on Saturday.

The police said Madhusudan Sambadh and his colleagues in a city-based call centre had gone to Ramanashri California Club and Resorts on Doddaballapur Road. The man got into the pool along with his friends and was drowned. He was brought dead to Baptist hospital.

His friends have lodged a complaint with the police alleging negligence on the part of the resort. The police have registered a case.
