THIRUVANANTHAPURAM, MARCH 5. The police have arrested a 61-year-old ayurvedic massage instructor of an ashram in Neyyar dam police station limits on the charge of outraging the modesty of two women trainees, including a Canadian national. The Circle Inspector, Kattakada, S. Sivakumar, identified the accused as Nedungadi. He has been charged under section 354 of the Indian Penal Code. Nedungadi was arrested on the basis of the complaint given by the women to the DSP, Rural, P. Vijayan. According to police, the women had joined the ayurvedic massage course offered by the ashram. The CI said Nedungadi, who owns an ayurvedic centre in Chennai, had been handling the massage course at the ashram for the past 12 years. The CI said the women had complained about the instructor's behaviour.
