THIRUVANANTHAPURAM, MARCH 5. The Vanchiyoor police have arrested a 44-year-old lawyer on the charge of cheating under section 420 of the Indian Penal Code (IPC). The police identified the accused as Babu Girishan. An official said he was arrested on the basis of a complaint filed by the film actor, Baiju. The case against the lawyer is that he had taken money from the film star for filing a case against another person. Mr. Baiju gave a complaint to the police accusing the lawyer of cheating him by not filing the case.
