Sir, — This refers to the report that Bhupinder Singh Hooda has been elected leader of the Congress Legislature Party in Haryana. As expected, Bhajan Lal has started sulking. Infighting in the party is a constant. The high command should realise that Mr. Bhajan Lal is a Karunakaran-in-the-making and rein him in before it is too late.

Sir, — The news that the Congress offered Mr. Bhajan Lal the post of Governor (March 5) to placate him is disturbing. Have not the recent happenings in Goa and Jharkhand taught us enough?
