Partly cloudy

CHENNAI, MARCH 6. The sky will be partly cloudy on Monday. The maximum temperature will be around 33 degrees Celsius and the minimum 23 degrees Celsius.

On Sunday, Nungambakkam recorded a maximum temperature of 32.3 degrees Celsius and a minimum of 25.4 degrees Celsius while Meenambakkam recorded 32.2 and 24.4 degrees Celsius. Humidity at Nungambakkam was 74 per cent and at Meenambakkam, 74 per cent.

Power cut

Power supply will be suspended in parts of Gopalapuram, Mannady, Dasarathapuram, Kilpauk, Park Town, Pudupet, Muthialpet and Pallavaram East areas on Tuesday between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. for maintenance work.

Temple cleaned

Volunteers of Selfless Movement Improving Life Everywhere cleaned the Arulmigu Sornambigai Sametha Sornapureeswarar Temple and the Sri Anjaneyar Vazhipattu Maiyam at Ashok Nagar.
