CHENNAI, MARCH 7. The Colorado-headquartered LeanPlus has launched its Indian operations by setting up an office in Chennai. Addressing a press conference here today, Michael Wader, President, LeanPlus, India, said the company would strive to be a catalyst for eliminating hidden waste in manufacturing, customer service and distribution operations. LeanPlus has taken on board K. S. Jayaraman, an engineer, and R. Narasimhan, a consultant, as business development directors. Mr. Wader said the two would co-ordinate with clients in India. The company had already landed its first client in Chennai. "L&T Chennai is our first customer. They are talking to us to do quite a bit of work," Mr. Wader said. Claiming that the mission of LeanPlus was to "help organisations to reach world class performance," he said his company had an office in Russia.
