Youngmen CC posts win
THIRUVANANTHAPURAM,
MARCH 7.
Youngmen Cricket Club defeated Varah Cricket Club by four wickets in the Thiruvananthapuram district `B' division cricket league at the Medical College ground here on Monday.
The highlight of YMCC's win was a fine all-around show by Biju (four for 49 and 50 runs). Batting first, Varah CC was dismissed for 200 in the 39 over as Biju took four for 49.
Later Biju (50) guided his team to victory in the 32nd over.
The scores: Varah CC 200 in 38.4 overs (Rajeev 63, Rajan 59, Biju four for 49) lost to YMCC 203 for six in 31.6 overs (Biju 50, Chandran 30, Suresh three for 54).
