Remand for Gopanna
Kakinada: Top Maoist leader, Gopanna, who was arrested on Sunday, was produced before the Third Additional Judicial First Class Magistrate, G. Chakrapani, at Rajahmundry on Monday who remanded him in judicial custody till March 18.
According to the police, the Maoist leader kept his cool and did not raise any slogans.
He told the judge that his visit to Rajahmundry was a routine party activity and replied negative when the judge asked him whether the police tortured him.
