NEW DELHI, MARCH. 7. It was a good beginning to the week for most Class XII students who appeared for their Biology paper on Monday, with the Central Board of Secondary Education examination actually seeing a lot of students finish the test well before the three-hour period. Described as an extremely easy paper, most students felt it was a sleep-walk. "It was a pretty nice paper and most of us finished it in just two and a half hours. All the questions were the expected ones or those that are seen as important ones. The five mark questions were very short, with one of them requiring us to make just a diagram and make ten markings on it,'' said Alin, a student of St.Anthony's Public School. Most students were, however, also left hoping that the marking wouldn't be strict. It was also a day that left most teachers happy. "Most questions were familiar as they had been covered in schools tests and revision classes, so overall one does expect students to do well as most of them had done the answers before,'' said Karuni Subramanyam, a Biology teacher. The next big examination coming up for the students is Mathematics. With a break of almost a week to go before the much dreaded subject comes up for test, this week will probably give the students some chance of getting also a peek into the much awaited India-Pakistan cricket series.
