Film based on Madhavikutty's book

PUNNAYOORKULAM (THRISSUR),
MARCH 8.
Film director Jayaraj will shoot a feature film based on the book, `Janu Amma Paranja Kathakal,' written by Madhavikutty (Kamala Suraiya), later this year.
"I would like Ms. Suraiyya to appear in the film,'' Mr. Jayaraj said.
He was here today to meet Ms. Suraiyya as she visited her native village after eight years.
"I've always wanted to meet her and was overjoyed when she said she liked my film, `Desadanam.' I want Janu Amma, Ms. Suraiyya's former housemaid on whom the main character of the story is modelled, to act in the film,'' Mr. Jayaraj said.
