PONDICHERRY, MARCH 9. Volunteers of the All-India Democratic Women`s Association, the Working Women`s Coordination Committee, the Democratic Youth Federation of India and the Progressive Writers Association staged a demonstration here on Tuesday to condemn the obscene projection of women in advertisements. S. Ramachandran, president of The Progressive Writers Association, who led the protest, urged action against companies that did so.
