BANGALORE, MARCH 9. A youth who came on a motorcycle snatched a vanity bag containing Rs. 1,100 from a woman journalist in Cubbon Park police station limits on Tuesday night. The police said that around 11 p.m. the youth snatched the bag from the journalist, a reporter with a national English daily having its office on Mahatma Gandhi Road, when she was walking towards the parking lot on Rest House Road. The Cubbon Park police have registered a case.
Vehicles recovered
The Nandini Layout police on Tuesday arrested two youths and recovered from them seven motorcycles worth Rs. 3.20 lakhs. The arrested, Naveen (18) and Anand (18) both residents of Nandini Layout, had stolen the motorcycles from Malleswaram and Mahalakshmi Layout police station limits, the police said.
