Letters to the Editor
Sir, The people of Bihar will be benefited more from President's Rule. The fractured verdict is a statement by the people of the State that they do not want any of the major parties to rule at least for the time being.
Chacko Vayala Mony,
Sir, No doubt in a democracy, it is desirable to have a popular government. But when the Bihar electorate has given a fractured verdict and politicians are not ready to close ranks, President's Rule is inevitable. Now is the chance to restore a semblance of law and order in the State. Since the politicians of Bihar have failed, it is for the bureaucrats to use their skills for the welfare of the people.
