KARIMNAGAR, MARCH 10. The Singareni Collieries Company Limited has made an all-time record coal production of 1,80,074 tonnes of coal on March 9 in the Ramagundam division and surpassed the earlier record of 1,49,810 tonnes of coal production made on March 30, 2002. According to official sources here, the Ramagundam-4 area had made its highest contribution in the whole time record by producing 71,858 tonnes of coal output, in which the Open cast project-1 of the area with the team work of officers, supervisors and workmen made a single day production, which is highest since its inception, an output of 62,858 tonnes. Added to the earlier record on September 21, 1998, the highest coal despatches to the NTPC, Ramagundam was 41,844 tonnes. But on March 9, 2005, the earlier record was surpassed by despatching 46,562 tonnes through merri-go round basis to NTPC, Ramagundam. The three operators -- D Rajamouli, the 5-cubic meter showel operator, made a record output of 5,360 tonnes, Mukdhadeer, the 3-cubic meter showel operator, made 3,780 tonnes, while, B Mallaiah, the 35 tonne dump operator, made 49 highest trips and Arisuddin, the 85-tonne dump operator, made 32 trips in a shift.
